Building Schools for the Future, Newcastle

The “Building Schools for the Future” (BSF) programme in England is the largest public procurement of facilities and services ever undertaken in the UK and in 2006 Robertson Facilities Management formed part of the supply chain to the Aura consortium which was named preferred bidder for the prestigious Newcastle Schools BSF scheme. In partnership with Sir Robert McAlpine, Parsons Brinkerhoff and Robertson Capital Projects, this meant that Robertson Facilities Management secured one of the vital early contracts in this key market.

Robertson Facilities Management will provide maintenance, grounds and caretaking services to an initial eight schools in the Newcastle area as part of a scheme which will see further phased development over time. Success within the Aura consortium will be a major contributor to future growth both in terms of volume and location as Robertson Facilities Management seeks to expand UK-wide.
