Longside Primary School
Longside Primary School was delivered by Robertson Northern in the summer of 2006.
It was one of six schools delivered by Robertson during the second phase of Aberdeenshire Council’s PPP schools rebuilding programme.
Robertson Northern was responsible for the innovative design and build of the new school, while Robertson Capital Projects was the main investor, with Robertson Facilities Management providing hard and soft facilities management services for the 25 year project duration.
The design of the new school accommodates seven classrooms, an ICT computer suite and a games hall with retractable theatre seating and complementary acoustics and lighting.
The new development also features a pre-school and a multiple use artificial sports pitch.
