Woodlands Primary in Carnoustie was officially opened in Spring 2008.
The modern educational facility was one of four primary schools to be delivered by Robertson during the first phase of Angus Council’s £50million re-building programme.
Robertson Eastern was responsible for the innovative design and build of the new school, while Robertson Capital Projects is the overall project manager and investor in the PPP project, with Robertson Facilities Management providing a range of hard and soft facilities management services throughout the 30–year project duration.
Set in mature trees and parkland, Woodlands is spacious and well equipped creating an active learning environment designed to engage children in a challenging and enjoyable way.
As well as providing the most up to date educational facilities possible for pupils and teachers, Woodlands is also being used outside hours to the benefit of the whole community.
