This project involved the development of four separate buildings – a three-storey health centre, two-storey day-care hospital, two-storey mental health facility and a dedicated building for Robertson Facilities Management. The health centre houses three GP practices, community nursing services, treatment room services, chiropody, dental, physiotherapy, acute outpatient clinics, community services and a pharmacy.
Forty five inpatient beds are provided in the community hospital for frail and mentally frail older people. All inpatients will be treated in single en-suite rooms and have access to extensive facilities including attractive outdoor seating areas for group therapy and a gym. This project forms a significant part of NHS Forth Valley’s primary care modernisation agenda.
