Chester le Street Community Hospital
Robertson Facilities Management won a BIFM Best Practice Award in 2006 for its delivery of total FM services to Chester le Street Community Hospital - a contract that had run from 2003.
As a result, the company is now recognised for officially providing the best FM service of any PFI project in Britain. Such an accolade is not only good news for all Robertson clients, but also for staff recruitment and retention.
Robertson provides services at Chester le Street Community Hospital for the County Durham and Darlington Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and employs a team of 35 people dedicated to this facility. The team is a blend of TUPE transfers and Robertson recruits.
Robertson was also delighted that the Patient Environment Action Team (PEAT) inspection of the hospital in 2004 resulted in the award of an “Excellent” rating for the environment and cleanliness of the hospital.
