Claypotts Castle Primary opened its doors in June 2008 and was the first school to be delivered under Dundee City Council's £90 million PPP schools rebuilding programme.

The entrance area of the new school features two impressive stained glass panels which were designed by pupils with the assistance of an artist.
Pupils will also be able to make use of an eco garden and there are bike racks to encourage cycling to school.
