Forfar and Carnoustie schools
The financial close of a PPP deal with Angus Council by Robertson Education – a consortium led by investment arm Robertson Capital Projects, Robertson Eastern and Robertson Facilities Management to design, build and maintain six new primary schools in the areas of Forfar and Carnoustie, plus add an extension to Carnoustie High School in 2006 for Angus Council proved Robertson’s status as a leading player in the Scottish schools sector. Together with existing contracts in Aberdeenshire this increased the group’s Scottish portfolio to 18 schools - a major share of this key market.
The Forfar and Carnoustie schools’ contract will see Robertson Facilities Management provide hard and soft FM services to six new schools in the city with phased openings scheduled through 2007 and 2008. They will provide services including maintenance, janitorial, cleaning and utilities management for Angus Council for 30 years.
