Robertson Capital Projects in joint venture with Sir Robert McAlpine, Parsons Brinckerhoff (collectively trading as Aura Learning Communities) and various public sector shareholders have been appointed to deliver this redevelopment of Newcastle City Council’s secondary schools estate. The project will be delivered in two main phases.

This project involved the development of three secondary schools and two primary schools. Two of the schools, the Sacred Hearts Roman Catholic comprehensive and the Saint Benedict primary school, are voluntary-aided and share the same site. The other schools were built on separate sites, replacing existing facilities that were demolished post-construction.

The £4.3m development houses three GP practices and health visitors.

Robertson North East carried out the design and build contract on the facility which forms a central part of the local community. Robertson Capital Projects acted as majority investor and Robertson Facilities Management will provide a range of services throughout the project duration.

Robertson Central is currently developing the Clackmannanshire Community Health Hospital on behalf of NHS Forth Valley.

The £20million project, which includes a replacement for the Alloa Health Centre, is being delivered in partnership with Robertson Capital Projects and Robertson FM.

Robertson Capital Projects and the Local Education Authority (LEA) worked in partnership with the Diocese of York to provide a new Church of England secondary school, community primary school, nursery unit and community library.  The design solution saw the development of a campus style approach.  The secondary school is a voluntary aided facility managed jointly by the Church of England and

This project involved the design, construction, financing and operation of 7 schools, some of which will include early years provision and community facilities. The new estate provides 4 new build primary schools; the refurbishment and extension of an existing listed primary school; and a new build extension to Carnoustie High School.

This project comprised the design, construction and funding of two new secondary and six primary schools, including the provision of two community swimming pools in the secondary schools, built over two phases. Phase 1 has provided four new primary schools and one secondary school, with Phase 2 delivering the remaining two primaries and new Academy. 

The project comprised the development of forty care of the elderly inpatient beds, four palliative care beds, children’s centre, elderly day hospital, rehabilitation and outpatients facility, radiology, dentistry, podiatry, gym, physiotherapy, speech/language therapy and a reception/pharmacy.

The second phase of Aberdeenshire Council’s PPP education programme involved the design, construction, financing and operation of five new primary schools and a new secondary school.  Additional support accommodation provided community education, library, sports and recreation facilities, social work and police facilities.

The first phase of Aberdeenshire Council’s education programme comprised the design, construction, financing and operation of a new secondary and the refurbishment of two primary schools, incorporating extensive community facilities. This project was one of the first multi site PFI contracts in the UK.
