This project involved the development of three secondary schools and two primary schools. Two of the schools, the Sacred Hearts Roman Catholic comprehensive and the Saint Benedict primary school, are voluntary-aided and share the same site. The other schools were built on separate sites, replacing existing facilities that were demolished post-construction.
Robertson Capital Projects and the Local Education Authority (LEA) worked in partnership with the Diocese of York to provide a new Church of England secondary school, community primary school, nursery unit and community library. This project involved the design, construction, financing and operation of 7 schools, some of which will include early years provision and community facilities. The new estate provides 4 new build primary schools; the refurbishment and extension of an existing listed primary school; and a new build extension to Carnoustie High School.
This project comprised the design, construction and funding of two new secondary and six primary schools, including the provision of two community swimming pools in the secondary schools, built over two phases. Phase 1 has provided four new primary schools and one secondary school, with Phase 2 delivering the remaining two primaries and new Academy.
The project comprised the development of forty care of the elderly inpatient beds, four palliative care beds, children’s centre, elderly day hospital, rehabilitation and outpatients facility, radiology, dentistry, podiatry, gym, physiotherapy, speech/language therapy and a reception/pharmacy.
